Ingredients
4tbspsattu mix
4tspcoconut sugar
1cupwater240 ml
1.25cupmilk300ml
Instructions
In a saucepan, add the sattu mix, coconut sugar(any other sweeteners to your choice), and water. Mix it without any lumps.
Now simmer this over medium until it thickens. It usually takes about 3 to 4 minutes. While it is simmering, don't forget to stir in between to avoid the lumps.
When you see bubbles on top as shown in the picture, add the milk and mix. Simmer it for a minute or two. I usually simmer it for one minute.
That's it. The porridge is ready.

Notes
I used a store-bought sattu flour mix. You can use homemade ones or any other porridge powder. The time it takes to thicken might vary accordingly.
Instead of regular milk, you can add nut-based milk and make this a vegan beverage, as well.
I went with unrefined coconut sugar for this recipe. But you can use any sweeteners of your choice.
I did not boil the milk as it was pasteurized. But if you boil milk regularly, then add the boiled milk.
