Instructions
Simmer the spices: In a saucepan, add 1 cup of water and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add crushed ginger, turmeric, and cardamom, letting it simmer for 2 minutes.
Steep the tea: Add 2 tsp black tea and bring it to a vigorous boil to infuse the flavors.
Sweeten the tea: Stir in sugar and mix well.
Add milk & boil: Pour in 1 cup milk, bring it to a full boil, then turn off the heat.
Strain & serve: Using a tea strainer, strain the tea into cups and enjoy it hot.
Notes
