Ingredients
Wheat Flour – 1.5 cups + for dusting
Leftover dal – Approx. 1 cup
Salt – ½ tsp
Oil – for paratha
Instructions
Mix the dal, wheat flour, salt together.
Mix well and knead the dough. (If required add water)
Divide the dough into equal sized balls and roll them. If required dust with additional flour. (This measure yields around 10 parathas)
Now heat the tava and place these rolled parathas and spread little oil.
Let it cook for a minute and flip. Let it cook for another minute on the other side. If required add oil.
Once both sides are cooked, that’s it. Yummy parathas are ready.
Notes
As the dal has all the spices and salt adjust the salt measurement accordingly. If required you can add chopped green chillies and cilantro for additional taste. Don't add more than ¼ cup of water for this measurement.
