Chikoo chocolate lassi - A simple chocolate-flavored lassi with the goodness of chikoo or sapodilla! Check how to make this lassi with detailed stepwise pictures.
150 to 160gramschikoo slicesfrozen or fresh (peeled and seeds removed)
1cupyogurt
1tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
¾cupwater
3tbspsugar
Instructions
Add the sapodilla slices, yogurt, water, and cocoa powder, and blend it for 30 to 40 seconds until it’s creamy.
Check for sweetness and add sugar accordingly. I added 3 tbsp of sugar.
Blend it again. That’s it. Chikoo lassi is ready. Transfer it to serving glasses and enjoy.
Notes
Depending upon the sweetness of the chikoo, adjust the sugar.
You can use maple syrup, honey, or safe sugar alternatives instead of sugar. You can also include 2 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk for a rich and creamy version.
You can use plant-based yogurt for a vegan version. Feel free to swap full-fat or reduced-fat yogurt.
I typically don’t add milk to my lassi. You can reduce half the measure of water and add milk too.
