Finely chop about one tablespoon of basil leaves and add them to the serving dish. Drizzle with one tablespoon of olive oil.
Next, assemble the skewers by threading one tomato, a piece of sliced cheese, a basil leaf (folded or left as is), and another tomato onto each skewer. Arrange the prepared skewers on the serving dish.
Repeat the process with the remaining tomatoes, cheese, and basil until all the ingredients are used.
Finish by garnishing with chopped basil and drizzling more olive oil and balsamic glaze over the skewers—finally, season with salt and pepper just before serving. Enjoy!
