– oil – onion chopped – extra firm tofu crumbled – ground turmeric – onion powder – salt or to taste – taco seasoning optional  – freshly ground black pepper – nutritional yeast

STEP 1

– Add oil to a pan or skillet; add the chopped onions when hot. Saute the onions until it turns soft and translucent.

STEP 2

– Now add the crumbled tofu and all the spices – onion powder, turmeric powder, salt, taco seasoning, black pepper powder, and nutritional yeast.

STEP 3

– Mix well and cook until the spices combine and the moisture evaporates.

– As you cook, you will notice crust forming. Stir the tofu in between, and do not leave it unattended. Here is the tofu scramble after cooking.
