Vegetarian Pulao / Pulav Varieties
Pulao is one of the most popular dishes in Indian cuisine. Popularly known as pulav or pulao, you can find different pulao varieties across India. We prepare pulao with rice and a blend of aromatic spices and vegetables (veg pulao), nuts (Kashmiri pulao), or even greens (methi pulao). You can use quinoa or millets instead of rice too or poha too. Yes, I have poha pulao too.
Pulao is comparatively easy to make, and most of my pulao recipes are one-pot dishes, and they are perfect for parties, potlucks, lunch boxes, and quick lunch or dinner.
